Logistics Coordinator
This is a full-time, 10-month position reporting to the Executive Director of Leadership Johnson County. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the programming logistics as well as:
Major Job Duties
- Logistical and administrative support for Signature Program, the Youth Leadership Academy, and the Select Workshops
- Write correspondence for Signature, Youth, and Select programs.
- Maintain community contacts for the Signature, Youth, and Select Programs
- Assist with the development of public relations and communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness
- Assist in the development of short-term and long-term planning, monitor progress and evaluate performance
- Develop a yearly outreach plan according to program needs and capacity
- Maintain participant and prospect information including the mailing lists
- Coordinate logistics for recruitment of participants for all LJC programs
- Assist with planning and delivery of program materials as needed.
Working Conditions
- Some evening and weekend hours required
- Must be willing to run errands in the local community
- Appropriate professional dress is required when in the office or when interacting with the community
Skills and Education Necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Public speaking experience
- Familiarity with adult education and training
- Creative, strategic and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Leadership development advocate

- Knowledge of Johnson County
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and two years of professional experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
