About the Facilitator
Katie Findley-Schwarz is an experienced nonprofit professional with over a decade of hands-on involvement in building positive outcomes for her community. She has a passion for purpose in serving as a catalyst for change. Katie has a love of leadership, learning, and community collaboration. She is a 2019 LJC graduate and a 2023 graduate of the MSLDP program, earning a certificate from the National Preparedness Leadership Institute at Harvard University.
About the Session
When your amygdala’s been hijacked the biological response is to fight, flight, or freeze. Disruptions at home, work, life stress, health concerns, or natural disasters can wreak havoc in our lives. But in a leadership position, others are counting on you to lead them through the crisis. Join me as we get smarter than our brains so you can be an effective leader when crisis strikes.
